Harada Drops More Tekken Lore on Twitter
We suddenly got more Williams lore than we did in the last two decades.

In another sudden burst of generosity, Harada answered one of the countless messages directed at him on Twitter and sacrificed the sacred lunchtime to give us some more info about the much beloved Williams sisters.

In terms of lore, he expanded on their parents a little bit. Mostly by pointing out that their father treated the girls well in spite of putting them in danger by making them carry on his legacy, and that their mother was so concerned for the girls that she did her best to teach them self-defense.
More interestingly, Harada refuted any possibility of developers snubbing Anna in favor of Nina, it's actually the complete opposite. Nina's constant popularity inspired many people on the staff to try and do her justice, add something special so that she can finally take the spotlight.
He shares many little details about the development, like how their appearance was always balanced around the idea of Ying and Yang, or how they had to build a whole new system to give Anna a unique stance that did something that didn't exist in the game before.
It's quite a lengthy post, but very much worth a read for any Tekken fan.
