Haitani Joins The Special Roster of Street Fighter 6 V-Rivals

Haitani just announced on his X account that he's being added to Street Fighter 6 as one of the special V-Rivals. The special status is typically given for any V-Rival that represents an actual person, like Woshige, Betty, Botan, and Justin Wong.

Somewhat unfortunately, these additions typically only allow for a limited number of playable characters. In this case, Haitani says that he will be collecting data on Chun-Li, Blanka, and Juri. Typically, the character selection has some connection to the player.

As one of the quote posts point out, this one might be related to his students, with Blanka representing Takagi, and Juri representing Amaki Pururu.

It's not yet known if beating him will yield any special rewards, though it's quite likely given previous special V-Rivals.
