Hackers Hijack Rooflemonger's YouTube Channel
The crypto scum strike again.

In a recent post on X/Twitter, Rooflemonger shared the bad news. After his Gmail account was hacked and effectively locked down, it was used to gain access to his YouTube account.

This is a fairly common situation at this point. Over the past few years, there is a trend of hackers gaining access to various popular YouTube accounts through phishing schemes and other methods. They then delete or unlist the previously existing videos, change the entire branding of the channel, and then typically start a stream that would broadcast advertising for various crypto coins.

In October 2022 a very similar situation happened with Lil Majin. If there's a bright side to this, it's that YouTube, despite their often lacking support system, is still typically quick to resolve these situations.

As of right now, the channel has been taken down, and Rooflemonger is in the process of restoring access to his channel and its previous state.

In the meantime, you can find him on the Rooflemonger Clips channel, where he already uploaded the breakdown of the latest KoFXV patch.
