The announcement comes from RockmanCosmo over on Twitter. While the game was preserved last year, it wasn't as simple to emulate as many other keitai titles. Turns out it needed a server to become functional, but thanks to Yuvi, it's finally playable.

Unsurprisingly, the game itself is very much an attempt to bring the Gundam VS series to phones, and it's a surprisingly solid one. As RockmanCosmo notes, it runs way smoother than one might expect from a phone title, while also retaining a surprising amount of fidelity and great art style of the main branch Gundam VS titles.

No multiplayer for this one, as there wasn't really an audience nor the solid enough tech at the time to do online fighting games on phones, but you can still enjoy the single player, and at the time, players could indirectly compete through the high scores.

As niche as this game is, it's fantastic to hear that such a small but interesting part of fighting game history is still cared for and lovingly preserved.
