Granblue Showcase Summary

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is just around the corner, and the developers from Cygames/Arc System Works keep feeding us the details about the upcoming game. Today they held a Granblue Showcase featuring game's creative director Tetsuya Fukuhara. A Twitter account Granblue EN (Unofficial) summarizes everything notable from the showcase in one thread, so all credits goes to them. Head down below for the details.

First, a couple of new details about RPG mode. It will be more streamlined with fewer battles overall, but boss battles will still be there. Plus there will be a new original character in the third act of the story - Rein.

There's also a brief look at the new Partner system and Figure Studio mode.

Grand Bruise Legends will feature a Fall Guys-like mode, Gold Brick Hoarders mode, and Bomb Survival mode.

The free edition of Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising will feature access to Grand Bruise mode and the first 40 chapters of RPG mode. In addition, the second beta is scheduled for early November and will include lobby matches and crossplay. 

Granblue Showcase: Part 2 has been announced and is set to take place in November. 

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising will be released for PlayStation 4/5 and PC on November 29, 2023.
