Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Joins ARC World Tour 2023

Arc System Works announced the initial esports circuit for the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. It is not a full-year competitive circuit like the Capcom Pro Tour or MK1 Pro Kompetition. Instead, it will consist of four qualifiers and ARC World Tour 2023 Finals. 

Eight players will compete from March 21 to 23 in California, USA.  Two of them will be decided at GBVS Cygames Cup Special 2024 in Japan (January 20-21), two will qualify via Kayane Cup in France (January 20), and two more will join them after Frosty Faustings in Chicago, IL (January 25-28), Two final spots will be on the line in the Last Chance Qualifier which is yet to be announced.

The prize distribution of the ARC World Tour 2023 Finals is as follows:

• 1st place - $15,000
• 2nd place - $6,000
• 3rd place - $3,000
• 4th place - $1,800
• 5th place - $1,200 each
• 7th place - $900 each
