Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Free Rotation Adds DLC Characters

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is one of the few games that actually offers a decent experience for F2P players. Since launch, they have offered a free version, where the key limitation is that you're restricted to 4 free characters that rotate each week. Not an entirely new concept, but is perhaps the most generous version of it that we've seen so far.

Sure, you might have to play characters you don't like too much, and you will have to put extra time into learning them all, but other than that, you can still enjoy online matches about as much as anyone else.

Until now, the characters you had access to were limited to the launch roster, though they offered some nice gimmicks, like basing the rotation on the recent tournament winning characters. However, now everything is on the table, DLC characters included.

For this week, from March 13 until March 20th, you will have access to Gran, Vira, Grimnir, and Lucilius, our first free DLC character.
