Grab an Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition free copy by June 25

WB Games has announced that they're giving away Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition for free on all major platforms until June 25. It's a chance for fans to revisit the game on different platforms and those new to the franchise to try out.

Injustice: Gods Among Us was the DC Universe's return to fighting games, and NetherRealm Studios did an excellent job with not just the characters but also the story, adopting a darker narrative than usual. To prepare fans for the greatness to come, an Injustice: Gods Among Us comic book was launched in January 2013 to introduce fans to the story, world, and characters of the game. The tale continued years after, until the end of its run in September 2016.

Besides the base game, the offer also provides access to all its DLC. This additional content includes the characters Batgirl, Lobo, Zatanna, General Zod, Martian Manhunter, Scorpion (Mortal Kombat), sixty S.T.A.R. Labs Missions, and forty character skins. 

The game's sequel, Injustice 2, was released in May 2017 across multiple platforms and also had a comic book of its own. An expanded version of the game, Injustice 2: Legendary Edition, was released in May 2018. So if you're new to the franchise and crave more after playing Injustice: Gods Among Us, you can grab the sequel right after.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition was launched in April 2013 for several platforms including mobile, from PlayStation 3 & 4 to Wii U, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, Android, and iOS. It eventually released on the Playstation Vita the same year.
