Go1 Says Goodbye To CAG Osaka
He is the latest player leaving a team

Go1, the most prominent player for CAG Osaka, has announced that he is leaving the esports organization.

CAG posted about this, giving their thanks to the player in a post where they said:

"We are pleased to announce that GO1, a member of the fighting game division, will be leaving the company as his contract has expired. GO1 has been a representative player of the team since CAG was founded in 2016. Armed with incredible concentration and reaction speed, he continues to take on challenges on the global stage of "fighting games" that transcend individual titles.

"In recent years, he has made a name for himself as an overwhelming world champion in DRAGON BALL FighterZ and DNF Duel."

"In the SF League, which he joined in 2023, he has produced many memorable matches with her brilliant Chun-Li playing style, and his natural talent has made him the most popular player in the league."

"I believe that he will continue to create many more legends with various titles that will be passed down for a long time."

Go1 has been with CAG since their inception, so this is a huge step for the player and he was emotional about it, putting out a heartfelt statement where he said:

"I have decided to leave CAG, the team that has supported me for about nine years since its inception.

"In 2016, Dogura, Eita, and GO1 started a team called "HAIL MARY" with the hope that one of us could become a professional. After that, Dogura was contacted by CAG, and through his introduction, I joined the team.

"There were times when I wasn't getting the results I wanted, but thanks to CAG's warm support, I've been able to continue my activities as a pro gamer, and I'm truly grateful for that. Thank you so much.

"And above all, I would like to thank all the fans who supported me. Your cheers and warm messages on social media were a great source of encouragement for me at all times. I truly feel that it is thanks to your support that I have been able to work so hard to get to this point.

"Once again, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has helped me over the past nine years. Thank you so much!!!"

It is unclear what Go1 will do next, but if he still wants to continue in Street Fighter 6, there will definitely be teams waiting to have him on their roster.
