Turns out there's no Dan in the game.
GameInformer continues their extensive coverage of Invincible VS, this time with one of their most entertaining review formats where they ask developers a series of rapid-fire questions, ranging from serious to silly.
Answering those 95 quick questions is the executive producer Mike Wilette, who comes off refreshingly candid in his responses, aside from some obviously "diplomatic" answers that are unavoidable in the current climate. As in, developers are often not at liberty to provide definitive answers to some question if it could interfere with marketing or public image and other things.

While rapid-fire format is more about entertainment than information, there are some interesting questions and answers that are fun to highlight.
Q: Who's the Ryu of this game?
A: Mark.
Q: Do any mechanics from Killer Instinct appear in this game?
A: Yes, the concept of openers, linkers, and enders is present, it's just in a different form. Also, two-way interactions and counterplay.
Q: Who is the best Invincible VS player on the dev team?
A: I think it's a toss-up between Rip and Hope.
Q: What's the most underrated fighting game of all time?
A: What did I used to play a lot... Maybe Dark Legend? Pretty underrated, pretty obscure. I did like Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha a lot! Probably underrated, but had a lot of super cancels.
Q: Would this game feature any guest characters from another IP?
A: I'd love to do it, so, you know, anybody out there, contact Robert Kirkman.
Q: Excluding this game, what's the best tag fighter of all time?
A: It's hard not to say UMvC3, just because of the hype. It might not be the best mechanically, or balanced, or anything like that, but from the matches I saw, and the passion from the community, and the commentators, to everything, it was one of the most fun things I've ever seen.
