Gabriel to be the next Guilty Gear -Strive- Season 3 character?

The third season of Guilty Gear -Strive- was available on August 24, 2023. This season pass bundle includes four new playable fighters to select from, two extra arenas to battle in, and early access to a bonus playable character as an incentive for purchasing the whole pass. The season's first released character was the swash-buckling saviour Johnny. The next seems to be hinted at by a tweet from Arc System Works America musing the mindset of a warrior who has endured both external defeats and internal struggles and has learned from these experiences to become stronger and wiser.

Enter Gabriel, the head of state for the country of Zepp and acts as a mentor for the character Potemkin. Although a supporting character throughout the series, Gabriel has connections to the characters Slayer and the Jellyfish Pirates captain, Johnny. These show exciting times ahead for the GGST Season 3 pass, as Johnny was the first character released. If we guess right, this will be the first time the Gabriel will be playable.
