Fighting Game Controller Store SGF Devices Is Closing Down

There are many ways to describe the current economic and political situation in the world, and "good" is not one of them. This is especially true for what's currently happening in the USA, and we're already seeing the wides impact of recent changes affect the FGC.

Most recently, SGF Devices announced on social media that the store will be terminating operations. If you ordered something from them, no need to worry. They will fulfill existing orders, and provide customer service for the foreseeable future, but no new orders will be accepted.

They continue to specify that this is a result of both the economic and political realities, but also personal challenges, with the store no longer being sustainable.

Throughout the years, SGF Devices proved to be one of the most reliable and high quality stores in the FGC, providing both customized, custom build controllers, as well as all sorts of accessories and parts. Naturally, this prompted some reminiscing from people who used their services in the past.

Even the name of the company was somewhat of a deep cut at this point, and really shows that this was the sort of thing that only happens when the people in charge (well, Matt) really care about what they're doing.

It's sad to see them close down, but we wish them the best, and hope that the future brings new opportunities or even a potential comeback.
