2023 Street Fighter League Japan champions FAV Gaming have announced their roster for the upcoming season. FAV are the first team so far to make no changes to their player lineup, with all four members from last season — Sako, Ryukichi, Fujimura, and Moke — returning for another year.
There is one new addition, however, with the organization bringing in coach Toyoman, who will oversee the team's strategies heading into the new season.
FAV were unable to defend their title after winning in 2023 and finished at the bottom of their league the following season. Much of that was attributed to the departures of Tokido and Bonchan, who joined REJECT and Crazy Raccoon respectively.
For 2024, FAV added Ryukichi and TS to join Ryusei and Sako, but the team struggled to find success. Then in 2025, Fujimura and Moke came in to replace Ryusei and TS, and while FAV improved, they could only manage a fourth-place finish in their league, which still was not enough to secure a playoff spot.
This season, they will be hoping that their growing chemistry and Toyoman's input can help push the team to better results. Individually, the roster is strong, but it remains to be seen whether they can bring those qualities together and perform consistently as a unit.
Street Fighter League Japan 2026 is set to begin sometime in August.
