Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Season 2 Line Up Has Leaked
Seems like it was just a few days ahead of time.

Well, the anticipation is over. Just the other day, we were commenting on the recent teaser from SNK, and whether or not it's building up to anything greater than a Season 2 announcement for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

Then the Season 2 announcement leaks a day later, potentially as a result of Game*Spark reporting it ahead of time, in an article that is now deleted.

It's unclear if they themselves were reporting on another source, or what information exactly the article included, but the most important part has already spread across the internet.

We now know the first four out of six characters, when they will release, and when the Season 2 starts.

The Season 2 should be dropping on January 22, with first four characters being Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary, and Wolfgang Krauser. There are also two secret slots that are yet to be revealed, and raise a lot of questions.

This current lineup was already heavily speculated. While Jae Hoon is less expected, Nightmare Geese was literally already in the game but only as a boss. Blue Mary didn't appear in the game, but clearly had a 3D model already, which made her inclusion seem more likely. The only character that people didn't quite predict is Wolfgang Krauser, but SNK recently teased him.

However, it's those teasers that add a fair bit of confusion here. Those vague videos included a total of 4 characters: Mr. Karate (Ryo), Robert Garcia, Wolfgang Krauser, and most recently Kenshiro. Obviously, only one of those made it in, and at best, we could get two more in those hidden slots.

Considering the Kenshiro trailer included thugs from the background of a Fatal Fury game, it seems likely that he's also joining in, but Mr. Karate and Robert were part of the same video, so, what's going on with that?

Despite the leaks, it seems like we still have some a bit of a mystery to think over, and with another Art of Fighters in the works, it could indeed mean that there is a lot more than another Season Pass on the horizon.
