They have once again done another collaboration
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has revealed the first of its two mystery characters to be released in Season 3.
CotW will be adding two characters from Ken Wakui’s famous manga Tokyo Revengers. The delinquent brawlers, Manjiro Sano and Ken Ryuguji, will be joining the CotW cast in the near future.
The announcement was made via a short teaser on the official SNK YouTube channel. The two characters apparently came to South Town and, as usual, have gotten into a couple of fights, expeditiously taking down their opponents.
It’s interesting that both characters will be in the game, which means that, technically, CotW will be receiving seven characters during the Year 3 stretch of the game.
CotW has already released two characters this season, Rick Strowd and Duck King, with Kim Kaphwan set to join later this month. Manjiro and Ken will be added to the cast on October 22, 2026.
Tokyo Revengers is a popular manga that has also spawned a successful anime series. SNK’s press release describes the title as:
“A popular manga by Ken Wakui. It has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2017, and its total comic circulation has exceeded 80 million copies worldwide. It has gained great popularity both domestically and internationally through its wide range of media, including TV anime, live-action films, and stage plays.
“The story follows the protagonist, Hanagaki Takemichi, who is at the lowest point in his life, as he makes a timely move to the past and struggles to change the future of his beloved and his friends. The story features a cast of unique characters, including Mikey (Manjiro Sano), the president of the Tokyo Manjikai, and Draken (Ken Ryuguji), the vice president, who have captivated many fans.
“In this game, two popular characters representing Tokyo Revengers, Mikey and Draken, join the fray and engage in a new battle in the world of Fatal Fury CotW.”
The fourth season of the Tokyo Revengers anime will begin airing on October 2, 2026.
