Update dropping December 9 brings the Art of Fighting boss as a playable fighter, plus improved training and online match stability.
FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves will receive its latest update, version 1.6.0, on December 9, 2025 (PST). This update introduces Mr. Big, the infamous boss from Art of Fighting, who will be available in Arcade and Episodes of South Town modes. The patch also adds a new frame meter in training mode, an eagerly requested feature that displays technical data such as move startup and recovery frames. Additionally, a guard-cancel option is now available in training, helping players improve their defense and reversal timing.
On the online front, enhancements aim to improve match stability: both ranked and casual matches interrupted by errors will now try to recover matchmaking instead of shutting down, and players might earn points if their opponent disconnects clearly during a match. Additionally, server communication for Clone, learn mode, has been optimized to accelerate data syncing. There are also the customary number of bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and tweaks to online mode. Though no significant balance overhauls.
