One of the many returning sponsors for the international competition this year
The Esports World Cup Foundation has a new sponsor for 2025, HONOR, which joins in after a successful run in 2024. Their latest flagship, the Magic7 Pro, is set to power some of the biggest mobile esports events, like PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, Honor of Kings, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. One of the main talking points for the company is the phone's AI-enhanced skills to boost performance, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, advanced cooling technology, and a smooth 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate screen.
Dr. Rui Guo, HONOR’s CMO, expressed their enthusiasm for esports, and officials of the Esports World Cup highlighted the partnership's role in advancing mobile gaming. The 2025 tournament in Riyadh, scheduled from July 7 to August 24, will include 25 tournaments, 2,000 players, and a $70 million prize pool. Fans can also enjoy live music, cosplay, and other activities. HONOR aims to enhance mobile gaming, making competitions more engaging. The Esports World Cup is a global event that brings together fans and gamers worldwide.
