Evo Official Registration Leaderboard sees SF6 and T8 at The Top

Evo's main event registrations closed last week, and at the time we already knew of the record-shattering number of participants registered. Today, the organization released the full ranking of tournaments. Taking the top 2 spots by a large margin are Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8. Followed by the seemingly evergreen Guilty Gear -Strive-.

On the other hand, it is worth noting the position of one of the generally thought of "big three" titles: Mortal Kombat 1 sits just above 600 registered players, in 7th place ahead of The King of Fighters XV, and below UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II SYS: Celes. The star of this ranking, however, has to be Street Fighter III: Third Strike. Released 25 years ago, the game has managed to surpass 1000 players this year.
