The Cooperation Cup is a 5v5 Street Fighter 3rd Strike tournament held in Japan. Multiple teams come together to face off against one another with only one team standing in the end.

This year's Evo Japan was a unique opportunity to host the Cooperation Cup on a grand stage with the eyes of the world on it.

The winners this time were team 3rd Monster comprising of SHO, BOSS, Mimora, Michael-tan, and Yomoda. They defeated team Nuki Children which had on its roster the legendary 3rd Strike player, Onuki.

The matches were exciting with fast-paced action that created a great deal of nostalgia for retro fighting games.

This win meant that 3rd Monster were the champions of Cooperation Cup for the last two editions. They were on hand to win the last edition which took place in 2023 with the same roster and interestingly, with the same Grand Final opponents, Nuki Children.

It is unknown when the next Cooperation Cup will hold, but it is sure to bring all the hype as this one did.
