Evo GM Speaks On The issues From Evo Sunday
Rick has been upfront about the issues

All in all, Evo 2024 was an amazing experience. Yet, it wasn't without flaws as the final day of the event had a couple of problems. The biggest was space as the over 20,000 attendants couldn't find space in the 9500-seater Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall. This meant long lines, lack of amenities, and potential fire hazards. People were asking for refunds as they didn't get to enjoy what they came for.

However, the general manager of Evo, Rick Thiher, has been upfront about the problems releasing a statement saying that while the first two days went well, day 3 was less than ideal and promising to do better in the future.

Rick also had something to say about the prizes as Punk, the winner of Street Fighter 6's Evo, complained that he won $12000 which is less than what he pocketed in 2017 when he took second place.

Rick said there must be an issue and it will be dealt with immediately.
