Evo 2022: Schedule and Times Announced Along With New Regulation
Evo 2022 is almost here and all the info you need is now at your fingertips

Evo 2022 is nearly here, and with anticipation for the event ramping up, it is great to see more information regarding the tournament coming out. The official Twitter account for Evo has announced the schedule for the tournament, including start times and when games will be available.

The tournament will hold from the 5th to the 7th of August 2022. This means that there will be three days of swashbuckling action for fighting game fans and enthusiasts.

In the announcement, the schedule for the event was released along with the draft brackets, which means that players now have an idea of who they will be facing in their respective games. A few things about the announcement are noteworthy, namely the mobile experience for the schedule. You can access the schedule on your mobile phone, and I can say from experience that the mobile site looks incredible. This was also confirmed by Rick Thiher, the General Manager for Evo who stated in a tweet that the mobile experience was made possible by the creative design and marketing agency AOE

Also, Rick also tweeted about the changes in time, which is now 10 am. In previous iterations of Evo, pools usually started at 8 am, but due to considerations on player comfort, the team opted for longer nights and later mornings. In his tweet, Rick said, "We've opted to run the experiment this year of running later into the day instead of starting earlier. Waking up in Vegas is rough and we're trying to acknowledge that."

The schedule also has attached to each game the Twitch channels responsible for broadcasting the matches. Unlike CEO and Combo Breaker which utilized community channels for broadcasts, Evo will have at least four dedicated channels from the main Evo channel on Twitch to three other sub-channels under the bbanner.

Evo is about two weeks away and as always DashFight will be on hand to cover every minute bringing you all the action and up-to-the-minute reports of the major happenings at Evo
