Blaze Entertainment put out a new announcement regarding the future titles you can expect to see on Evercade. For those unfamiliar, Evercade is a handheld console with a focus of physical cartridges and emulating retro titles.
This time, they are collaborating with SNK to bring back some of their Neo Geo titles, and if you're familiar with SNK's Neo Geo library, you know that it will likely include more than a couple fighting games.
To begin with, Neo Geo was a remarkable beast in the world of console gaming. The major selling point for SNK's home console was its power. In an age when people had to make a trip to the arcades if they wanted to see the prettiest, most robust experiences that gaming has to offer, SNK was promising a platform that would deliver this same level of fidelity to your living room.
The lineup of games for this collaboration is unknown at the moment, but something among the lines of KoF, Metal Slug, Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown, and a few others seems exceptionally likely.
