The Esports World Cup Foundation has revealed its Trophy System for the 2025, blending luxury craftsmanship, cultural symbolism, & competitive legacy

The Esports World Cup Foundation unveiled its 2025 Trophy System in Riyadh. It features the Club Championship Trophy, crafted by Thomas Lyte, a Royal Warrant holder. Standing 60cm tall and made of sterling silver and gold-plated, it has a palm tree motif for Saudi heritage and a tech-inspired crown. The Trophy System includes four key elements:

  • Champion’s Keys – Personalized, engraved keys given to all competitors, symbolizing their place among the world’s best.
  • Game Trophies – Where winning players embed their Keys to seal their victory.
  • Totem of Legacy – A permanent monument on Riyadh’s Boulevard, displaying the frames of victorious Keys and crushed remnants of defeated competitors.
  • Club Championship Trophy – The ultimate prize for the top-performing esports club.

When a player or team wins, their Key is placed into their Game Trophy, and a frame is added to the Totem, preserving their achievement. Opponents who are defeated surrender Keys, which are then crushed and embedded in resin at the base of the Totem. "The EWC Trophy System elevates esports into something meaningful and lasting," said Ralf Reichert, CEO of the Esports World Cup Foundation. "Every Key, every frame, every addition to the Totem reflects ambition, courage, and the desire to succeed."
