The Esport World Cup has taken Abbey Road Studios to find its new sound

The Esports World Cup Foundation has launched Music of EWC, a new initiative to define the musical identity of the Esports World Cup 2025, the world’s largest esports festival. The project kicked off with a four-track suite recorded at Abbey Road Studios, featuring original music by 2WEI and Hollywood Scoring.

EWCF also opened a global competition via Audiotool, inviting emerging artists to submit original tracks. Two winners will have their songs featured during the EWC 2025 event, receive prizes like limited-edition vinyls, and a LANDR Studio subscription. Submissions are open until June 8, 2025.

The full soundtrack, combining professional and community-created music, will premiere during EWC 2025 this coming july in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, appearing across broadcasts, live events, and digital platforms. Music of EWC is part of a broader EWCF strategy to use music to strengthen storytelling, community, and cultural connection across esports.
