Embracer Group Is Splitting into Three Companies
Cut my group into pieces

On their website, Embracer Group has announced that they will be splitting into three separate companies, those being Asmodee, Coffee Stain & Friends, and Middle-earth Enterprises & Friends.

This is all following Embracer's previous announcement about restructuring the company after their financial incompetence led to over one thousand and multiple games getting cancelled, such as one unnamed Deus Ex sequel.

The new companies will largely continue to do what they were doing before, and are somewhat separated by scale. Asmodee (Ticket to Ride, Talisman, Catan) will continue working on table-top games. Coffee Stain & Friends will be focusing on A/AA scale games with a sprinkle of live service titles. Finally, Middle-earth Enterprises & Friends represent the AAA part of the scale, owing their name to the Lord of the Rings license.

Whether or not this will help the affected gaming studios to stabilize the situation remains to be seen, but the intention at the very least seems to be an attempt to quell the shareholder worries.
