Ed Is Coming With JP and Ken Nerfs

Capcom Cup X is underway, and even though Capcom said they didn't have anything new to announce for the game, it seems like players have already found what we were looking for.

The demo setups at the event allow people to try out Ed, but they've also revealed some balance changes. For example, JP's Amnesia now scales heavily, and the OD version is far less active. Ken got his throw loops gutted, and Jamie gets a forward throw into drink cancel, on top of maintaining his drinks after his Level 2 Super.

There's a lot more to discover, so this is just a few examples of the biggest changes. Everything is subject to change, for obvious reasons, but Twitter is already abuzz with people discussing these changes, largely in a very positive light.

Capcom took their time to prepare this changes, so it's exciting to see what else we can expect. Even the changes that have been discovered thus far have a potential to seriously shake up the meta and the tiers. Struggling characters like Jamie, Lily, Manon, and AKI in particular could really shine in a new light.
