Early Details For Capcom Cup 12 Including New Ways To Qualify Revealed

Capcom Cup 11  will take place in March 2025 and there is already a lot of excitement for it with many players already qualified and many more waiting in the wings to get a shot at winning a million dollars. 

Additionally, it has been announced that there are some new ways to qualify for Capcom Cup 12 and some early details have beenn revealed. In a post on their official X account, CAPCOM eSports announced that the winner of Capcom Cup 11 will be automatically qualified for Capcom Cup 12. Also, an added incentive has been given to Street Fighter League in that the winners of the Street Fighter League World Championship will all get spots in Capcom Cup 12. 

Street Fighter League World Championships pits the winners of Street Fighter League Europe, USA, and Japan against each other with the winner able to call themselves world champions. This new rule means that any team that wins will have all of its four players qualified for the next Capcom Cup. 

This is a good development as the current situation of Capcom Cup didn't have a spot for the winner. It is also  really interesting for Street Fighter League as this will mean that the makeup of teams matter even more now as a win on the world stage is a chance to avoid the stress of trying to qualify through some of the other means. 

Street Fighter League Japan will resume this week, with the USA edition also set to resume while the European version will see the light of day this week also.
