Peter Tuiasosopo, the actor who played E. Honda in the 1994 Street Fighter movie has sadly passed away.
The news was confirmed by the actor's son in a Facebook post.
He was 61 years old.
The actor was in a bunch of movies including The Fast And The Furious and appeared on hit sitcom, New Girl. The cause of his death is reportedly due to some heart complications which led to his demise.
Fighting game fans will best remember Tuiasosopo for his turn as E. Honda in the campy 1994 Street Fighter movie which has grown to become a cult classic with some truly fascinating performances most notably by Raul Julia who is also late.
After the news of his death was also posted by fellow colleague and Chun li actress, Ming Na Wen, Capcom also posted a short statement in reply.
