Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen launches today
Capcom’s expansion adds the Norgan region, Lost Rites dungeons, Hard Mode, and major tech updates

Capcom has released Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

The new release includes the Dark Arisen Expansion, which is also available separately as DLC for Dragon’s Dogma 2 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Dark Arisen is priced at $49.99, while the expansion alone costs $29.99.

The expansion sends players to Norgan, a long-abandoned northern region where the Arisen joins Eir to uncover the secret of the Fallen Dragon. It adds relic appraisal, new weapons and abilities, 12 Lost Rites Dungeon Challenges, and more character creator options, including new hairstyles and tattoos.

The launch also includes Title Update 4.0, adding Hard Mode, PlayStation 5 Pro Enhanced PSSR support, FSR 3 Frame Generation, DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation on PC, and other quality-of-life updates.

Capcom also added new Official Pawns: Toy Leon, Knockoff Ryu, and Real Rudy.
