The Game Awards 2024 came along with a slew of announcements. Among all the premieres and bigger projects, the new update on Double Dragon Revive from Yuke's and Arc System Works almost got lost.

Admittedly, we aren't seeing any new gameplay this time around. Instead, the trailer is tied to the opening of pre-orders and the release date reveal.

If you're itching to brawl with some thugs, bandits, criminals, and other riff-raff, you'll have to wait a little under a year. The game will be out on October 23rd of 2025, and the pre-order will run you $35 or your regional equivalent.

Although, in a rather expected turn of events at this point, Arc System Works has once again decided to ignore the Steam's recommended prices. Many regions can expect a price tag that is decently above of what you might expect from other games in the $30-40 range.
