Korean Street Fighter player Dakcorgi has signed with KT Rolster. Dakcorgi rose to prominence during the latest Capcom Cup, where he pushed tournament favorite MenaRD to a final game, final round situation. What made this even more remarkable was that he did it twice.

A Breakout Capcom Cup Performance

Dakcorgi initially lost to MenaRD, dropping into the losers bracket. From there, he defeated YHC-Mochi using C. Viper, a character widely considered to have an unfavorable match-up against Dhalsim, YHC-Mochi’s main.

He then advanced to the losers final, where he faced MenaRD once again and pushed the two-time champion to the very edge. While he ultimately fell short, his performance captured the attention of fans and players alike.

KT Rolster Strengthen Their Roster

KT Rolster also signed Korean SF6 player JPKing, who was not present at the Capcom Cup but will be looking to fight for a spot in the next edition.

Dakcorgi expressed his excitement about the move on social media, stating that he wants to focus on producing results he can be proud of.

With Evo Japan on the horizon, that could be the next stage where fans get to see Dakcorgi showcase his talent once again.
