The 4th edition of the Crazy Raccoon Cup held over the weekend and it was the most successful one yet with over 1.2 million views on YouTube and a huge turnout on Twitch. The tournament pits streamers who then have a pro player as a coach, against one another in a team format.
In this way, more and more people have learned the game in Japan. A testament of this is that a player from the first edition, SHAKA, a popular streamer in Japan, was one of the individual coaches for one of the players in the tournament.
This edition saw the four teams captained by Bonchan, Naruo, Kazunoko, and Shuto take on each other, and at the end, Bonchan's team was victorious with 14 points garnered.
The games were a blast and is sure to make Street Fighter 6 even more popular in Japan.
