Combo Breaker announced today that the full details of the 2025 edition of the historic Illinois event would be released on January 3rd. 2025 will also be the 10th anniversary of the series, which started in 2015, though, like other events, it paused for 2020 and 2021.

Combo Breaker's rise to stardom is nothing short of electric, as the series started in 2015 and went up from there to feature individual game prizes in the thousands. Post-covid and with the looming downturn of many esports ventures, the prize pool might have gotten smaller, but the number of players making the pilgrimage to the land with no coast and no kings continues to grow.
