Combo Breaker 2026 wrapped up on May 24 after another full Memorial Day weekend of fighting game competition in Schaumburg, Illinois.
The event was held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center and featured more than 7,000 attendees across its main tournament lineup. Street Fighter 6 led the field with 1,452 entrants, while Tekken 8 also crossed 1,200 players. Guilty Gear Strive, 2XKO, Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and several legacy titles also had major brackets across the weekend.
Combo Breaker has remained one of the largest annual stops on the FGC calendar, bringing together current titles, anime fighters, 3D fighters, retro brackets, mystery tournaments, and community events under one roof. With finals now complete, each game’s top-eight results show who made the deepest run through one of the busiest brackets of the year.
Here’s the top-8 for Tekken 8:
