Even if it's decades old at this point, esports are still in their infancy compared to traditional sports. We learned a lot from our predecessors when it comes to tournament formats, rating systems, and how to run a competition in general, but there's still much that could be done.
The biggest example of this is how FGC fosters new talent. Well, it simply doesn't. We are just lucky to have many enthusiastic players all over the world who have a passion that can't be extinguished, which drives them to become the next MenaRD, Daigo, or Arslan Ash.
