Cloud9 Appoints New Head Of Sales

Cloud9 appointed Tim Mulligan as the new Head of Sales. He will be primarily responsible for revenue generation, sponsor relationship management, strategic planning, and brand representation.

This news is interesting because of three different points:

• 1. Tim Mulligan is a specialist with great experience. He worked with Warner Media, EA, Machinima, THQ and many other big names. Also, he is no stranger to esports since Tim was the Head of Sales at XSET and head of strategic accounts at 100 Thieves.
• 2. Despite the ongoing esports winter, the CEO of Cloud9, Jack Etienne, stated the organisation had a profitable 2023. So, such an appointment should only strengthen Cloud9 and help it grow.
• 3. Cloud9 is not a stranger to the fighting games. Currently, Cloud9 has under their banners the EVO 2013 champion Mang0, as well as Cuddle_Core and YUYU.

Cloud9 starts 2024 strongly, and it would be interesting to see its progress throughout the year.
