Alex Jebailey, CEO Gaming's founder and lead, released a statement today about the future of the major. Come 2025, CEO will no longer be at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. As per the statement, the original deal with the venue ran through 2025 but it will be terminated a year early.

The background context of the move comes down to Daytona's and Florida's infamy and friction with many members of the Fighting Games Community, specifically the increasing transphobic incidents. A new venue for 2025 onwards has yet to be named, but Alex assures in his letter that there will be a new home for CEO.
