Organisers of Community Effort Orlando have announced that planning for 2026 is in progress, with expectations for it to be their “strongest and biggest lineup of games ever.” CEO has a longstanding reputation as a key event in the fighting-game community. The 2025 event, hosted at the Rosen Shingle Creek resort in Orlando, included over 30 tournament titles spanning various genres, making it one of the largest in recent years.

CEO 2026 could become a crucial early-year bellwether for the competitive scene. Recent champion lineups, including wins in games like Tekken 8 at CEO 202, showcase the sort of high-level competition previously seen. It, alongside a number of other North American majors, like the Midwest's Combo Breaker, are leading the way in balancing the scene outside of the juggernaut of Evo.
