MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls made its major debut at CEO 2026 with a massive 1,054-player field, immediately giving the new Marvel fighter one of the biggest tournaments of its young competitive life. The Top 8 featured a mix of established fighting game stars and early Tōkon specialists, with SonicFox, Supernoon, Kayos, Leffen, BlueSkyGuy, Akash, ninjakiryo, and JaazzRap making it to the final stage.
SonicFox ultimately emerged as the first major champion in Tōkon history, defeating Supernoon in Grand Finals to complete the tournament's inaugural championship run. With Spider-Man appearing in every Top 8 team, the event also offered an early glimpse at the game's developing competitive meta.
