Not long ago, Capcom held a massive survey to find out how people feel about the company and its games. After a bit of wait, the results of over 250k votes are finally in, and they are fairly interesting!
Out of all the votes, over 80% of them were male, and nearly 80% were between the ages of 20 and 40, with there being a fairly rough split between 20 to 30, and 30 to 40. While there are votes from 220 different countries, majority is taken by USA at 28% and Japan at 21%.
Speaking of demographics, wanna feel old? DMCV was most popular in the 10~20s generation, while for players from 30s to 60s, Dino Crisis was still the GOAT. Which is perhaps why it won the vote for which game fans would like to see a sequel or a new game for.
Funnily enough, when asked about a game that people want to see completely remade, the top answer was "Not in here." Out of the many options that Capcom offered, almost 90k votes didn't find a choice they'd like. That said, Onimisha
If you're a fan of DMC then... well, then there are clearly many others like you, because Dante and DMCV took the crown as the favorite character and game respectively. Although if you go only by ratings from Japan, the most liked game is Okami.
You can find a lot more info over at the results page, and if you've been playing a decent amount of Capcom games, it's very much worth a look.
