Capcom's CCG TEPPEN Announces End of Service
There will be an offline version, but that too will shut down fairly soon.

Sad day for the fan's of Capcom's rather overlooked collectible card game TEPPEN. On their official website, they just announced that the game will be shutting down in March 2026. Specifically, the End of Service update is scheduled for March 30, 2026 at 20:00 (PT), or March 31, 2026 at 3:00 (UTC).

At the moment, the game already shut down the option to purchase in-game Jewels, and on 1st of March they will disable the option of buying card packs and Jewel Exchange in Adventure more.

The saving grace here is that the app will have an offline version update, which you'll be able to download from March 30 to April 29. Somewhat puzzlingly, the offline version will be discontinued after that, which will follow the termination of the official website and full end of support on July 30.

For fans and people who care about preserving history, the only hope is that this offline version can be copied and preserved, so that TEPPEN can be experienced, at least to some extent, well past its End of Service. Presumably, you should also still have the offline version available on your mobile device of choice, if you managed to download it within the allotted window.

Neither Capcom nor GungHo elaborated on why the game is shutting down after six years, the simplest assumption is that the playerbase dwindled over the years, and maintaining the game was no longer profitable.
