Capcom Releases Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny Remake

Capcom has released a remastered version of Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny, the 2002 survival action game, now available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The best-selling entry in the Onimusha series follows Jubei Yagyu, a swordsman seeking vengeance against the demonic Nobunaga Oda after his village is destroyed.

The Onimusha was left to its own devices for many years, but it seems like now, Capcom is intent on bringing it back to the main stage. As this remake is released, development continues on the teased new entry for the series, set to release sometime in 2026.
