Capcom Pro Tour 2023: All the World Warrior #5 Results and Standings

Capcom Cup is coming in early 2024 and the names of competitors are coming out by the day. Capcom Cup X will have 48 participants with 26 of them coming through the World Warrior series of events that will culminate in a regional final and the winner will win a ticket to Capcom Cup. 

Here, we have a round up of all the results and tables. 

BR Kumite - World Warrior 2023 - Brazil 5

JUNINHO-RAS got the win this time beating Capcom Cup representative NamikazeExTM in the grand final. This shot him up the table and we now have a top 8 for the regional final. 

SPIRITZERO X World Warrior 2023 - South Korea #5

FoxRain ended the dominance of Leshar who didn't even seem to take part in the tournament. With such a huge bag of points, FoxRain has sealed his place in the regional final. Considering he was in 9th spot and out of the contention, this win was much needed and a big boost. Now he has it all to play for in the regional finals which will take place on the 24th of November 2023. 

Versus Masters - World Warrior 2023 - Asia Southeast 5

Xian continued his trailblazing in his region with another first place finish which should help him immensely to build up confidence regarding his ability to book his ticket to Capcom Cup. He wasn't in the last one, so it should be a motivation to make it this time. The regional final will take place on the 18th of November 2023. 

Get Washed - World Warrior 2023 - South Africa 5

In South Africa, JabhiM is already booked for Capcom Cup, so, it was a chance for someone else to take the plaudits and it was MarkTheShark9200 who did it. He defeated Sunny and will now have to do it all over again if he is to join Jabhi at Capcom Cup. 

N.B: Because JabhiM is already qualified, the 9th placed player should get in and take his place. 

凹比盃 AubyCup - World Warrior 2023 - Asia East 5

With Chris Wong finally qualified for Capcom Cup thanks to his amazing win at the Capcom Pro Tour France offline event, he did not partake in the final World Warrior event leaving Oil King as the winner with a victory over Micky.

N.B: Chris Wong is already qualified so there should be another space in the regional finals

Super Saturdays - World Warrior 2023 - US Midwest 5

hsien was the  winner of this event with Joey taking second place. With their placements, the likes of JAK and Brian_F also took their spots in the regional final where they'll duke it out for a spot at Capcom Cup. 

UNGA - World Warrior 2023 - Oceania 5

The dominance of  FREESER in Australia continues as he  won the event again showing that he is certainly one of the best Hondas in the world. We were introduced to him at the Singapore offline event where he got quite far and did really well against the titans of the game. With Travis Styles qualified for Capcom Cup already, FREESER will hope to be the one to join him. The regional final will be on the 19th of November 2023. 

NB: Travis Styles is confirmed in Capcom Cup, so there should be one more slot

UOS - World Warrior 2023 - France 5

Mister Crimson was the winner of the latest World Warrior tournament for France as he desperately works towards another Capcom Cup entry. While we have a Dhalsim in Capcom Cup, Mister Crimson's take on the character will be surely welcome in the tournament.
