C.Viper Is The Most Wanted Addition For SF6 Season 2 According To Pros

Crimson Viper is a character that was first introduced to Street Fighter in Street Fighter IV where she was an undercover agent tasked with bringing down the Shadaloo Intimidation Network (S.I.N) from the inside. 

She wasn't the most popular character with her biggest triumph being a second place finish at Evo thanks to Latif, but there seems to be a clamor within the FGC to have the player return for Season 2 of Street Fighter 6. 

In a survey carried out by Reversal, a fighting game channel, while at Red Bull Kumite, a fair amount of professionals picked C. Viper as the  character they wanted back in the game. Players such as Big Bird, Mister Crimson, and Gachikun mentioned her as the character they'd have return with Mister Crimson even intimating that she was the inspiration behind his gamer tag. 

C. Viper has only appeared in one mainline Street Fighter game and as she was missing in SFV, it does seem to be a good idea to bring her back to the game. Apart from Viper, players also want to see the likes of Bison and even Rufus back in the game. 

Season 2 of Street Fighter 6 will come out sometime around the middle of the year between June and July 2024.
