Several top managers will leave the company in the next several months.

One of the most famous managers in the gaming industry, Bobby Kotick, will officially leave Activision Blizzard next week. December 29 will be his last working day. He sent an e-mail to all the employees where he said thank you and mentioned as the company moves into the "next exciting chapter", they "could not be in better hands".

Earlier this year, Microsoft finished the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. According to The Verge, the suite of AB executives, including Blizzard President Mike Ibarra and Activision publishing president Rob Kostich, will report to Matt Booty, Microsoft's game content and studios president. The structure of the company will not change drastically. However, Activision Blizzard's chief communications officer, Lulu Meservey, and several Activision Blizzard executives will leave the company in the following three months.

Bobby Kotick became the CEO of Activision in 1991 and is infamous for his business strategy as well as several big scandals within his company, including a lawsuit due to workplace misconduct and discrimination
