Blueblood Arena Is Now Out on Steam in Early Access
There will be fighting among us.

New indie fighting game just released on Steam in Early Access. Blueblood Arena is a 2D fighter that is anything but traditional, because experimentation and unique playstyles are at the core of this title.

If it feels or looks somewhat familiar, it might be because one of the key developers, Starcutter, has previously made the surprise hit – Among Us Arena. What looked as just a funny gag on the surface ended up being a shockingly solid fighting game that attracted a lot of attention and even a small competitive scene.

Not long after, Starcutter started working on Blueblood Arena, with the earliest version of the game coming out in 2023. Now it built up quite some meat on the bones, so even for an Early Access release, you've got plenty to play around with.

Currently, there are 5 characters, arcade mode, and versus mode, both local and online with rollback. The practice mode is not in yet, but it's coming. For now, exploring what you can do with the 5 characters is one of the big draws, since the has a rather loose combo system that invites a great deal of experimentation.

The game currently sells at a -25% discount for $6.74 USD, or your regional equivalent, which should be really affordable going by what I'm seeing on SteamDB.
