Bleem Is Releasing a New SEGA Mega Drive Fighting Game
Dust off your old console.

Remember Bleem? Many of you likely don't, because the company had to shut down before some of the people reading this were even alive. Nonetheless, Bleem had an extremely important role in the history of video games. Their PS1 emulator and subsequent lawsuit established an invaluable legal precedent for all emulation developers (unless they are working on Switch emulation.)

That said, the company ran into significant financial troubles at the turn of the century, and closed down in 2001. Somehow, Bleem came back over two decades later in the form of Bleem.net, a website that they describe on their Kickstarter as "the ultimate retro platform."

However, moving closer to the topic of fighting games, Bleem seeks to release a brand-new port of Tough Guy, rebuilt from the ground up for SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis, and featuring a brand new soundtrack.

You can check out the extra details in their video below.
