Bison Story Mode Hints At Season 3 Characters And Fans Aren't Happy

The return of Bison to Street Fighter 6 has been met with some mixed reactions with some fans pleased to see the dictator return to the game, and others a little peeved that the heroes are left fighting the same villain again. 

Bison is the latest DLC character for Street Fighter 6 and in his story mode he is seen to end it by defeating Juri and asking her to fight him more to satisfy his hunger. There are also artwork showing members of the Shadaloo team and a scene that involves Balrog considering between joining Shadaloo and the Neo Shadaloo that Ed has put together. 

This has led a lot of fans to speculate that the likes of Balrog, Vega, and maybe even Sagat will return in the 3rd season of the game. 

This hasn't pleased many fans who were hoping for more Street Fighter III entrants and new characters. 

The return of Bison in Season 2 was followed by the announcement that Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui from Fatal Fury will be guest characters in the game. When the novelty of the news wore off, fans wondered if this was the way to go as opposed to characters from the Street Fighter III and Alpha games and more new characters to give the game a new feel.

The feeling seems to be that Street Fighter as a story is stagnating with the refusal to do away with the World Warriors, and the reluctance to clear the path for a new villain. 

There has been no confirmation of who will be in season 3 of Street Fighter 6, so everyone is still in the dark in that regard. 

The next character to be released is Terry Bogard who will come in the autumn of 2024.
