Beastcoast Acquired In Its Entirety by M80

Multi-sport organization M88 has acquired the whole of Beastcoast. Although the move has implications for a wide range of titles such as Rainbow Six Siege, it also puts a question mark on Beastcoast, now presumably M8, Guilty Gear Strive players Lord Knight and Jonathan Tene. Prior to their GGST focused team, Beastcoast did feature players from a wide range of titles, such as HoneyBee, Dragon, and Biohazard for Mortal Kombat.

M80 did briefly dip its toe in the FGC, having signed EndingWalker for 2023. But it now remains to be seen what the future will be post-acquisition. Some Beastcoast employees have stated they were to be laid off as part of the acquisition. At this time, neither player has commented on their future under the new organization.
