The first Tekken World Tour for Tekken 8 is just about set as the qualifiers for the tournament are set with only the two slots for the last chance qualifier yet to be filled.
In a post online, Bandai Namco released the qualified players who were the top 20 players on the Global Leaderboard and the top player from every region. This makes a total of 35 players which rises to 37 with the addition of the two qualifiers from the LCQ.
At the very top of the leaderboard is Arslan Ash with 2315 points.
There was also a lot of South Korean and Pakistani representation with 8 and 5 players respectively from the Global and Regional leaderboard. Unfortunately, Knee, the legend, was not one of the qualified players, which is a shame considering how well regarded he is, and how well he had started to do recently.
Also of note was the very noticeable lack of North America representation with only two Americans making it. Shadow 2OZ was the only American on the Global Leaderboard while Fear Of Silence also made it through the regional spot.
